Christy Carlson Romano she was in a tv show now she sings..Raven Symone she was in a tv show now she sings...Miley Cyrus well i think she had to....who else....whos that whats her name...Sandra Young?? the chinese girl?? hope she doesn't sing...Vanessa Hugdens something ....she was in the High School Musical Movie...and now she sings....if they're so good at singing why act??

Simple, the only sole purpose that they move into singing, acting, etc is for advertising which equals money. For example, Hilary Duff had a hit television show which was popular among teenage viewers. To expand that popularity, she moves on to another form/genre to gain more attraction which in turn her audience will buy because they are familiar with her works... :p
Basically, it's only for money, money, money!

I see what your saying..i guess the acting was a heads up sorta thing, to get noticed by the public. Once they seen how everyone reacted to them they began to sing to see how that would lead things. I guess most of the stars are multi-talented..that is the best reason I can think of.

Half of them can't sing worth a crap.
The Asian one is Brenda Song. She doesn't sing.
And you forgot: Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Orlando Brown, Sabrina Bryan, Zac Efron, Lucas Grabeel, Kyle Massey, Aly (from Aly & AJ), and Anneliese van der Pol. There's probobly more.

Disney markets all there talent every way possible, it is all about the money. A lot of times they don't know what they can do until they are given a chance and Disney gives it to them.

probably because they couldn't sing well enough to get a singing career so they acted first and used there name to put out a CD
