James Brown was a wife beater and drug user and people want to honor him, because he sang. OJ Simpson was worst, but people want to honor him. Come on Elvis was a great singer, but he was a druggie and did some aweful things in his time too. Why do people honor and worship people like this? Want a great person to honor, try Jeus.

I agree with you, I find it stupid to honor people who were legendary for people like stupid musicians. Like Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain, they made good music, but they made so many stupid moves with drugs and alchohol people think they died "Too early" or "innocently" Maybe people should really look about what these kind of people are like in real life.

Ok! One.James Brown is now dead, let the man rest in peace! I mean why are you bringing up stuff from almost like centuries ago?!? O.J is not being honored for nothing and if he is it's because he was one of the greatest football players alive! James Brown was known as the hardest working man in show business, so THAT IS WHY PEOPLE HONOR HIM! Elvis.....I don't know why people honor him. You have the concept all wrong James Brown was a great performer and that is what people honor his entertainment abilities. No the man was not perfect and no one is. But his personal life is not our business. And we don't know what his relationship with God was. When we ask for atonement for our sins God readily gives it to us. If there were no sinners we would not need God.
Do you think that God does not Love James Brown because he made mistakes in his life?
