It's really pretty, but it depend on how fancy the dance is. I think you should wear it. Be the belle of the ball!

Way cool. I'm 29 and I get concerned with trying to sew a button back on a shirt. (That's why the cuffs on my black blouse are safety pinned-- The buttons came off and I've not mended it.) Someday, when my husband and I get a more permanant house, I'm going to get my mother's old sewing machine and teach myself how to sew.
However, I would suggest a light shawl, wrap, or jacket to go with it. I'm not sure I would be comfortable with my 13- (or 14-) year-old daughter wearing a sleeveless, strapless dress. Heck, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with 29-y-o me wearing a sleeveless, strapless dress, and I'm married. LOL

No its fine. Looks cute plus all the other girls will be wearing nice dresses too.
With a dress that is strapless I would go with hair down and do curls you will look pretty.

depends how it looks when you make it. Paper and the real thing are totally different. But if you end it just below the knee it would look alot better. And no, It wont be too fancy.

I love the dress, your talented. I don't think the dress is too fancy actually i think its perfect for the dance.

Depends on your school. Just as long as you don't make it out of expensive fabrics, it should be fine. You could dress it down with a denim jaket. Hope this helped!

yes, it would be better if it ended to ur knee area and try a cute blsck color with a thick red belt in the same place as the bow

Depends on the theme , i think the dress is pretty and simple so it should be okay for the occasian

compared to what the girls at my 8th grade dance where wearing nope its good. its a nice one too
