well of course its possible why wouldn't it be. periods and yeast infections have nothing to do with each other. you can have one before after or duirng your period. yeast infections happen because the ph level in your vaginal is off and the bad bacteria takes over. this can be caused my stress,poor diet (too much sugar in your diet),diabetes,etc. if she is red ,itchy,sore and splits and has different discharge and odor this normal then just try some monistat ( i like the one day treatment you use overnight i tried the three day which they recommend but it didn't work ).

Definitely. A female can get a yeast infection at any time. It sucks, but it's true.

Yes, kids can get yeast infections too. I had to deal with one when I was a camp counselor.

Yes, our Dr. told us to use an antibiotic soap when bathing and to avoid bubble baths. It sould clear up but if not see a physician.
