for every person there will a differant answer. my advice to you would be to seek a personal trainer to fit your work out to your needs.

I played Semi-pro ball and agility and footwork drills are the most rewarding because if your a too stiff your bulk will hurt your range of motion... more wiegth less reps = mass, less wieght more reps = strength and lean muscle.

diet should consist of lots of protoien. chicken, fish, steak, beans, brown rice, and ots of veggies will get u on the right track including protien shakes that you drink b4 bed and b4 workouts.

if you want to get faster you should utilize lunges, squats, and jumping rope. also running in a swiming pool gives u good restistance training with out the strain on your knees.

core strength is something that is most important since your midsection is the main source of strength. crunches, rows, and the clean & jerk will help you with explosiveness. hope this helps

Sk your schools trainer. They will be more than happy to help you. You should eat right lift and join the track team..
