Rap has just words with beats( computerized maybe? ); while rock is all about the PASSION, the love of rock n roll; everything opposite to just what rap is. Rock brings out the life, the meaning; yeah

I am a fan of hip-hop not rap..I really don't like rock too much. But to answer your question I like rock better than rap.

rock rules!!! rock has ALOT more meaning to it. When a rock song comes on I'm more likely to identify with the lyrics apposed to a rap song where they are talking about sex, money, drugs and guns.

(like your AC/DC screen name, my son's band plays lots of AC/DC! He is 13 and loves the good stuff, Rush, Eagles, Skynyrd, etc when his band starts playing crap-rap they will need to find a new basement to practice in!)

i don't care for rap but that said i also understand it is the music of the younger generation just as rock and roll was that in its time..so if they like it, that's all that matters
