some slipknot songs are good, like duality and vermillion, but most are just screaming themselves hoarse. but if you like that kind of thing then slipknot is ok. just a little...wierd. like the masks and stuff. lol

A good concept completely provided by Roadrunner records. Back in 1993, a band formed in Cleveland by the name Mushroomhead. Any Slipknot fan knows this as they have probably had this argument. Roadrunner met with Mushroomhead and Mushroomhead declined they're offer. Mushroomhead was the first 8 piece metal band to come out with masks and all that jazz....
2 Months later slipknot is all over the place. Slipknot fans will argue Mushroomhead stole they're idea, but if youy look at the facts MSRH was around a LONG time before SLPK. As soon as Slipknot broke up they started again with that whiney stone sour crap that they're doing now, proving they themselves weren't all hip to the whole lighting themselves on fire and jumping around thing.
