Everyone did a good job in the movie, but Ms. Hudson took my breath away. I heard the buzz on Jennifer, but I didn't fully understand it until I watched the movie. I have seen Jennifer Holiday do it (also incredible), but Jennifer Hudson totally made it her own. Her acting was phenomenal! I was majorly impressed. She looked like an old pro in theatre in that movie. This was definitely her movie and her time to shine. What did you think? I smell an OSCAR!

YEAH, SHE DID!! I don't think it right that Beyonce gets a the oscar nomination for best actress when Jennifer Hudson deserves it. What Beyonce deserves is best supporting actress but instead that the award Jennifer Hudson has been nominated for. I wonder how Jennifer Husdon takes that all in.

Jennifer Hudson was fantastic! No one could have done that role better than her. I hope she wins an oscar for it. She should.

I tend to disagree, Jennifer Hudson's performance was weak. It was a good effort, better than Beyonce. But to say that she made the role her own is just plain insulting to Holiday.

She deserved it! She definitely can sing and made goosebumps chill over my body for a little there too.......but I still think the movie stinks. I don't remember it much and I only saw it 2 days ago.
