How about a pair of walkie talkies with a local signal? Usually you can purchase these at the local electronics store or supermarket like kmart rather inexpensively.

The best gift for them would probably be a nintendo Wii, all games are family friendly and are tons of great, endless fun that will keep them busy for so long. Even you might want to join them at times, considering the great amount of fun it offers. it's fairly cheap, about 200$ I think. It uses a motion sensor remote that you could do things such as these in games:

In a sport game for example, you want to swing a bat, you just swing the remote and off you hit the ball

same goes with a variety of many games.

The top games they would enjoy would be:

- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Rayman Raving Rabbids
- Wii Sports

and many more! I hope I helped! Happy Birthday to them! :)

I have had experience in this so read!! It's from the heart!!lol

My twin brother got a gun with pellets a couple of years ago, they were great fun but I wanted one aswell. I got a barbie and barbie house which I hated cos I was a tom boy. Find out what they're interested in. If the girl plays games to do with guns, or imitates having a gun. Get her a boyish thing. That way she'll feel that it's ok to like boy things.
For the boy, hmmm... What ever you get him he's going to destroy it eventually and use it as a harmful weapon. For example by cousin got a frisbe becuase we were in the country side. That frisbee didn't last long!!!! It soon went down the river after he tried to kill a trout in the water!
Basically get them something they both will play with. Try and get them to play with each other. My brother and I got a pair of laser guns for Christmas. You have a decator on your chest and you have to shoot your opponants. Its a laser so it dosn't hurt any one and the laser is invisable so you don't shoot it any anyones eye. It's great fun and you can find it a John Lewis!! Enjoy!!!

Just go to the toy department and pick out a kid who looks like they are the same age. Then just watch what they look at and beg their parents for. Whatever that is, it's a good bet that the twins will think it's cool also.

How about some musical instruments and a little microphone...they can start a band; maybe include their friends.

If you really like their parents, you might want to ask permission before doing this (especially if you get them a drum kit!)

Webkinz- they are cool, within the age limit of ten year olds, and they can play with them together or seperately on the computer.

Depending on how much you are willing to spend, here are some suggestions: Ipod, air hockey table (something they can share), a fun game like Cranium, etc.
