I saw her on the Daily Show or something talking about how during the last few years national security was a much more important issue than gay rights, and that she's just waiting for society to catch up for her. Which is interesting, because society never really "caught up" to accepting other minorities until they fought long and hard for equality.

Well she used to be an advocate for gay people in that she worked for Coors Beer promoting their beer in the gay community on the idea that she as a gay person could vouch that the company wasn't anti-gay. However since the 2004 election it seems as though she has decided to sell the gay community down Sh*t River to promote the interests of her father and her party.

I have never read anything.
I would guess it is out of respect for her father. Regardless of how some may feel about her father. The two of them seem to have a good relationship. I do not think that she would want to be used as a pawn against her father.
Of course, this is just my opinion.

Because daddy is the vice president and a republican. It's anti-republican to support gay rights. When daddy's out of office then she'll probably go running to the gay community. They'll hopefully tell her to shove it up her a*s.

So she won't embarrass her father and the republican party. 'nuff said. Her choice. She has written a book and given interviews on this subject before. I think the book sold a couple copies.

Because her father would have her shot? No, she's republican. She worked for her father's campaign. At some point, people care more about being "fiscally conservative" and to hell with social issues-- like her own rights as a lesbian.

Don't know and don't care. She is nothing but a self-centered cow and I have no use for her.
There are some people that we can do quite well without their support.
