if you have a virus checker run it.

you probably have some kind spyware on your computer.

download the software above. install it on your computer and run a scan. it will remove any spyware/adware on your compter and hopefully remove those popup.

one more software you should get is ccleaner, which cleans out your internet history from your computer.

download both software and run them both. 95% sure your problem would go.

It sounds like a malware infection. Calm down, you are not the first and certainly not the last. It's not the end of the world.
1st-Make sure to get all Windows updates DLed and installed.
2nd-Go to BitDefender.com for a free virus scan. TrendMicro now charges to clean.
3rd-Download, install, and update Ad-Aware (free). Do a full system scan and delete the crap it finds.Do this weekly.
4th-Download, install, and update SpyBot Search & Destroy (free). Do a full system scan and delete the crap it finds. Do this weekly.

If you dont have a firewall, GET ONE. ZoneAlarm has a free version.
If you dont have an anti-virus, GET ONE. Both AVG and Avast have a free version but I recommend Nod32. It's the best available and it's not very expensive (about $40 US.) Install, update and do a full system scan at least weekly.

If this doesnt fix the problem, download HiJack This. Go to techsupportforum.com (there are others but this a good, free site) for instructions. DO NOT use HiJack This unless you are extremely knowledgeable about Windows and it's processes. You can seriously Bork your system. Let the pro's direct you.

It's gonna be ok. Malware (virus's, trojans, etc) are just part of net life nowadays. Follow these steps and you should be cured in no time. Spyware doctor is nice, just get the full version if you feel the need. I use these apps and have been infection free for over 2 years excepting the few tracking cookies. Good luck and happy New Year!!

Call Gateway and get them to access your computer through the internet, they should be able to take care of the problem. If you can't do that you may need to reformat and do system restore.
