I think they should start them then pull them in the first or second quarter. Especially Grossman, we need to get Griese to get some practice and we don't want Grossman getting hurt♥

Should they???
Heck yes!!
Clobber the Pack!!!

Will they?
I doubt it seriously. Lovie Smith is a wise coach and we are nursing several injuries as of right now.
Thomas Jones is a little banged up as Urlacher isn't 100% either.
Desmond Clark, Bernard Berrian, Jason McKie and Mark Anderson deserve some much needed rest.
I LOVE Da Bears!
I would like to see us conquer the Packers for a fourth consecutive time, but I feel Lovie will do the wise thing and win the game with back ups and second stringers.
We need to check out some of the depth chart before the playoffs anyhow.
Coach Smith said when he was first hired by Chicago that his number one task was beating the Pack. He delivered and has kept delivering ever since.

Greise and Adrian Peterson will have a super game this week. Watch for Mark Bradley and Mark Anderson to do the same.

Never a meaningless game when it comes to Da Bears vs. The Packers!
Never dull. Never boring!
Especially being possibly Favre's last game, although I doubt it.

But .......I didn't come to start no trouble,..........I just came to do the SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE!!!

The Bears want to bet the Packers because they have won all the games in the division. The Packers and the Bears are big time rivals. To the Packers want to win this game is for the playoffs. The Bears will probably treat this as a preseason game. This game is not meaningless by any standards as a Bear or Packer fan.

By the game is played on Sunday night the Packers and the Bears will know who won early in the day and in the weekend.

they might just play their starters a little while maybe a half or even a quarter or a quarter and a half as this game is basically meaningless as they have everything wrapped up and don't want to risk a serious injury before the playoffs start

Playing against the Packers is not meaningless.

If the Bears do not make it to the Superbowl and win, at least we'll have beaten the Packers.

It is the oldest, and perhaps the deepest rivalry in the NFL.

Anytime these 2 teams play each other is a major event.

Lovie will most likely play the starters for at least half of the game. Last year taught him that he can't sit the entire team for the last game or else they will look rusty having 2 weeks off instead of just the bye week.

Need to play them for one half with a conservative approach. Football is all about rotuines, and one or two days of difference can throw guys out of their rythem. Play them for a half to satisify the mindset of routine and they will feel like they are going into a normal week once the playoffs arrive. taking two weeks off can be troublesome. Also, there will be 70,000 people who dont want to watch backup players......the fans make it all possible so they deserve to see something at least

They play probably for only the first quarter. Its way to risky to let them play in a meaningless game.

They will probably play there starters in the first half. If they have a pretty good lead they will probably take some of them out.

Yep, because they'll be looking to pound their traditional rivals into the turf, forcing John Madden to come out of the booth and finally proclaim his undying disgusting lust for Brett Favre, which will result in many Chicagoans blowing chunks of bratwurst and sauerkraut all over Lake Michigan.
