i didn't have my period till i was 14 and 1/2 and even teen i would skip months without a period and it didn't start to straighten out till i was almost 16. so your fine unless you dont get one in the next few months then why dont your try going to a female doctor. i know im more comfortable with a female and also its not as bad as you think to have someone looking down there. they are a doctor and have seen the grossiest things you can imagine and it goes by so fast. just relax and go to the doctor if you dont start in the next two months. Ive been to the gynocologist around 5 times.

At 13 your cycles can be irregular because of a lot of reasons... stress, weight gain/loss, or just that your body is changing. If you're going through a growth spurt at the moment that may knock your cycles askew.
Unfortunately there's not much you can do about irregular periods without medical intervention. Drinking tea made of parsley can sometimes help bring on a delayed period (this can work, but it is FOUL). You shouldn't be afraid of seeing a doctor. Believe me, a girl with missed periods does not even BEGIN to register as "gross" for a physician. Ask your mom if you could go to see a woman, if you are nervous about seeing a guy.

Your young so your periods are going to be very irregular due to hormones changing, and things like excessive exercise and stress could contribute. I didn't get mine until I was 14, and then after that I only got my period once or twice a year. I didn't become regular until I got on birth control. You probably don't have anything to worry about...it will be irregular, but if you are concerned go to the doctor.

there are a lot of factors that can stop a woman's cycle. When we're emotionally stressed, things can stop, or it can be normal for you not to have one very often. When I'm not on the pill, I have one every other month or so...
If you're not sexually active and are completely sure you're not pregnant, then it's probably just stress. I wouldn't worry about it.

It is normal for you to have irregular periods at that age. To ease your concerns, there are sexual health clinics where you can talk to a female nurse about your menstrual cycle. It is your right to speak to a female doctor if you would be more comfortable.

for the first year or two of your period, you will be irregular. don't worry about it. when some women start, they go months at a time, sometimes even a year w/o getting it again.

if your mom makes you go to the doctors and youre uncomfortable with seeing a male gynecologist tell your mom you would prefer going to a female instead.
