Who says you can't?

I would wager to say that at almost any given moment it is you that is deciding what should happen next. It is actually very rare that you don't decide.

Oh you can say well I can't quit my job because I need the money, so my boss controls me, but that isn't true, you decided. Your boss can come in and decide to fire you, so you don't get to decide that, but it is you that takes the next step.

You notice that when they talk of people that have been "men of destiny" they aren't talking about a simple path, but of a person that sees the path they want, some how walks it.

Wishful thinking. Simply because of the law of probabilities. If I could control luck, I would be the master of my destiny. Like everyone else, nevertheless, I fail to pick the winners as often as I pick the losers.

Then it wouldn't be destiny would it? the whole theory of destiny is that our lives are planned before we are even born a calling that tells someone to do or follow something. But if we controlled what happened, do you think Martin Luther King would have been famous and helped stop discrimination, or just another preacher?

Destiny is the end result. Anything you do, to change the pattern your parents gave you, will change your destiny.

I think we are all born with an end result in mind. whether you can break the cycles of fear in life is a true determination of what your destiny will hold.

if i was onmiscient, and knew and could control my future, i would certainly be rich, happy but darn bloody bored. still, it beats worrying about everything. the answer to everyone's probem is normally money. i know many people say that being rich doesnt mean being happy, but i would rater be unhappy and rich than unhappy and poor.
