A lifetime of hard labor.

Or, use him as an advisor as to what a nation must do to survive once Islamists decide they have the strength to take over the nation. I am not sympathetic to what he did to innocents. I recognize, however, that he fought a bitter struggle against Islamist Jihad just as nations such as France, England, Australia, the Netherlands, Bali, Philippines and others shall have to. It is only a matter of time.

I know he was responsible for many atrocities, but I think death is the wrong punishment. The people he ruled over lived in fear most of their life. I think like in a max joint would be more appropriate. I just don't believe in killing people. Once they are locked up they are not getting back out into society. Once they hang him they are stooping to his level.

It's not him - it's his double.

After his capture, his wife insisted on visiting him in the American jail. She emerged after 1 minute & shouted "This is not my husband but his double. Where is my husband? Take me to my husband".

Many people have stated this isn't Saddam, but is a double.

The death of Saddam will probably be announced very soon (as within minutes or hours). No announcement of the exact time it WILL happen will be made; instead that it DID happen at such and such a time.
