a-Unemployed (if over 16 and actively looking)

b-Not in labor force (if stopped looking)
or
b-Unemployed (if still actively looking)

c-Not in labor force

d-Employed

Not in labor force means not counted as employed or unemployed- so not used in calculating unemployment rate.
Just browsing the want ads is "not actively looking", so that means not in labor force. You have to apply or interview or contact to be actively looking.
