Lots of lovely patterned tights and holdups but I can only wear stockings !!! Where can I find some?

Thanks to all for suggestions - but STILL not what I was searching for ! I used to be able to buy lovely patterned, lacy stockings from many high street stores. But now they all seemed to have disappeared. Tights and holdups (even knee-highs) now come in all sorts of patterns - not stockings (for use with suspenders). Oh well, thanks again.

You could try Dorothy Perkins, or so of the market stalls in London ie East Street market, Camden as I got some brillant tights in these places and I'm sure that they do stockings as well.
try the figleaves website or la roudoute, hopefully you will find something there

go to www.fredericks.com, or search Fredericks of Hollywood, it is a US chain, but they send overseas. They have stockings (the real ones, not the crap they advertise as stockings today), and belts, so you'll have everything you need. They also have everything from plain to racy, so you should be able to find what you need. Luck!

If its stockings you are looking for go to stockingstore.com. They have a huge selection of stockings. Try looking under stretch stockings and costume accessories, they have a lot of different stockings in their costume accessories section too.

Agent Provocateur sell nice stockings...also try Ebay for Christian Dior stockings...
...here is a link to ebay for stockings...there are plenty of other sellers on there selling new items as well as vintage etc...
