Fergie says not, but now he's got Larsonn till end of season he might. Although Smith had chance earlier on ib season to rejoin Leeds or go to Cardiff on loan.
So, poss a championship side..if he agrees.

There's nothing definite. Ferguson wants to loan him out so he'll get experience and back to match fitness. With Rooney, Saha and Solskjaer in the team Smith is quite far down the order.
However Smith has said he doesn't want to go on loan, he'd rather to stay at United and just work at his fitness.
I think he's worried about being loaned out and then sold. But no, there's nothing definite but unless Man Utd buy a striker in the transfer window then I can't see him going anywhere otherwise Utd will be a bit short up front.

Alan smith betrayed Leeds i think he should be transferred to working in the poo factory testing poo (and that's a nice way of putting it).
he was a good player for Leeds he hasn't played like that for anyone else what a waste of talent.

fergie says not but i just wonder if alan smith is actually surplus to requirements at old trafford anyway....if i were a manager i wouldnt be looking to sign him but i expect alot of desperate managers will try....it wouldnt be the greatest shock if he was either loaned or sold

I think he might leave it up to a. smith himself cause we have larsson coming and rossi returning from loan this weekend so i think a loan to another premiership side is most likely some one told me watford are trying to take him on loan.

He will be loaned out - he costs too much to buy and he will want to play so a loan it will be, prob to a championship team that wants to push for play offs
