you can get another fish to put in with it
ask your pet fish store
you just can not put another Siamese fighting fish in with it
go ask them

i bought a betta the other day. my other one died. theyll live without another fish. mines named ahkmenrah. after rami maleks character in night at the museum. hehe.

Put something in its bowl, like a little plastic castle it can get in & out of.
Or buy it a companion!

mine like to play "chase the cat" on the living room carpet, but are not good at it. i think it's a traction issue.
