I do think we have the right to decide if one should be put to death. And although we have no way of knowing what death is like, we do know that there are many criminals which are no longer trust worthy to join civilization. So why keep them locked up, feeding them, providing medical care for them, and providing many resources that cost the tax payers a lot of money? As far as I'm concerned, we way under use capital punishment.

Does one man have the right to kill in the first place? Why would you argue for the rights of someone who has no regard for the rights of others? So, a murderer's life should be spared, just because someone has to KILL them to eliminate them?
Do unto others, and you will not get the chair. Problem solved.

It's not wisdom on life and death. It's decided by a jury of our peers. So you think the moron that gunned down six Amish kids in PA should live?

I don't know if we have the right. But putting someone to death for their crimes insures that that person can no longer commit the same crime again, so in that sense ( the sense of peace of mind) I would have to say yes!

Yes, some people do very evil things to others. Like rape torturing and murder. It is not a matter of wisdom, it is a matter of justice for the victim and a deterant to other ruthless people. Also, if they are dead they cannot ever do that act again.

That's one of those very difficult questions because then how do you punish one for stealing the life of another. I think it's also a very impossible question to answer because when it comes to life and death the human mind is so overpowered with emotion. When it comes to emotion it is often a topic that is very hard to come to a conclusion on or even reason with.

Death to some is a temporary fix to getting things out of the way...and like the person above said....what if it is not punishment?
I think if someone is dangerous....they should be imprisioned for life that is it's own hell for them to live with because they will change and see why was I so dumb? (most anyways)
