Bye Bye Baby - Bay City Rollers

Loved this in 'Love, Actually.' Such a happy tune and a sad meaning in the case of death. Made me cry buckets.

Without You - Nilsson

Sad as anything :( More of a breakup piece but it works...

Drive - Scorpions

Very sad song. Kind of lost as well, in my opinion. Like grief.

it depends... at my grandmothers funeral we made a slideshow of pictures with the songs "You raise me up" by josh groban, "the prayer" (we chose the celine dion/ andrea bocelli version but there's a really nice charlotte church/ josh groban version as well), and "con te partiro" (which is italian but the english version is called "time to say goodbye"... con te partiro literally means "i'll go with you" i believe).
of course if the family member is younger and depending on their personality you could use more popular songs "i will remember you" or even the puff daddy version of "i'll be missing you". i hope that helped and i'm very sorry for your loss.

Try to think of a song that sums up what this person meant to people. Or you could think of a song or group that the person themselves liked. I think the personal touch is always the best.
