The company is not required to supply anything in the way of liquids. If it does supply hot water, it is usually because there is a process that can dump waste heat into a system and thereby heat the liquid.
Drinking water is not a requirement either - particularly if the 'job' entails working on the road, away from urban facilities.
Most employers will provide both hot water and drinking water, but it isn't a legal requirement. They're only doing it because it's good business - meaning happy employees.

Well i know it is legal to not supply hot water but if there is a company thats doesint i suggest this go to another company

They might need to supply the drinking water, but the hot water probably isn't a law. I know it isn't in IL♥

I would think the company already looked into the legality of this particular cost-savings measure before it was implemented. my suggestion would be to bring your own bottled water and get used to washing your hands in cool water.

I stay in the Philippines and intensely few dwellings have warm water and none have risk-free ingesting water. The rats in my abode will devour a Terrier . human beings defecate and urinate in the streets. and that i stay in a effective section. maximum human beings cook on the floor on a char coal fired pot. be glad about what you have.

Well it is if you pay your bills, and OSHA won't help. If you pay you can sue. If you don't that is your fault. Sorry but it is the law!

i dunno how things work in california, but in maryland youre supposed to buy your own heat pump which takes the water from the utilities and makes it hot
