I have an idea for a story.

This unpopular girl named Beth, Really hates this cheerleader and they really look alike. So Beth Kills (Or kidnaps) the Cheerleader and fills in for the cheerleader even at her house (Becuase the cheerleaders parents dont even pay attention to her) Then Beth Dicovers that the cheerleader was really miserable and admits everything. She gets put in jail...The end sounds boring at the moment but it won't be!

I actually thought more about this question more than any other. there is a real good basic concept in there but you could drop some of the trimmings. The basic element that someone motivated by hate takes the place of another is a good one. I think the fact no one notices (not even her parents) could make a good comment on how shallow some sections of society are. Maybe through her experience the impostor realizes that she has no reason to hate but should actually pity her. Not sure the whole cheerleader aspect is needed

i think that it sounds good, but could there be a twist in there somewhere? like, if she does kill the cheerleader, then it turns out that there's some sort of evil demon in the cheerleader and it comes back to life and overshadows the beth, but you don't know that the cheerleader is a demon until the very end where it says something like:

...*insert demons name here* looks back at beth with a smirk. "well, beth, you really want to be like *insert cheerleaders name here* so badly? then here you go." and she closes the strange door, leaving beth weak, in the dark and scared.

and all of that's taking place in beth's mind and then in the real world it's like the demon has become beth and it's like her eyes glow or something at end and she walks out of the room. could it be like that, cuz i think that would make it really good!

If you can dazzle it up and put some more plot twists in it it could work. Say something like beth finds out that cheerleader was planning on replacing her so she would just be able to get out of the pressure....okay that's gay too, but if you really can bring it with the story I think it has potential.

is this for a book?
well, i do think it would be intresting if people switched places, but I think it should be kinda like Sister, Sister. where they meet at the mall and then decide to switch and the experience each others life and then...um the familys can move in together. No wait! It can be like the parent trap. One girl never met her dad and the other never met her mom. The switch and tries to get their parents together again before the mom marries a new husband. Yeah! Good Luck!

Sorry, but not really.
I read a lot, and can usually tell by reading a summary how good the story's going to be. I would recommend tweaking this a bit.

I think you can do better than that. Brainstorm to find a "fresh" idea!

Actually, you don't have the idea... I gave you the idea... you could have at least said thank you.... and I summarized it better. I said you were free to use it... but it isn't your idea... remind me not to give you another one.
