Harry will probably find the rest of the Horcruxes and destroy them, so that Voldemort will become mortal. As the prophecy said "neither can live while the other survives." (1. Rowling, 927).

So, I think that Harry will sustain major injuries in Book 7 (titled: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) but he will follow Dumbledore's last instructions about finding the last four horcruxes and destroying them then go for Voldemort.

Just for clarification: "a horcrux is a word used for an object in whicha person has concealed part of their soul [and how it works is that] you split your soul ... and hide part of it in an object outside the body [and how you do it is] by committing murder"(2. Rowling 464-465). So therefore Harry cannot be a horcrux because Voldemort did not murder - besides its not recommended that you place a part of your soul into another living being like Nagani.

Also Harry does not have a horcrux because he did not place an enchantment on an object after 'killing' Voldemort (Harry did not commit murder for he did not cast the spell)

I hope Snape dies in this one - that rat!

It's really hard to believe that the last book of the series is coming out.

i think both (skipping all the details i dont know) harry and voldemort are gonna duel after harry finds the 4th horcrux and destroys it. during the battle, both harry and voldemort are gonna die. ALTHOUGH... if u are a real potter fan then you should hav thought of the idea by now as i hav that harry (unknowingly) has his own horcrux! dumbledore, after trelawney told him the prophecy and voldemort had already attacked harry and failed to kill him, had harrys soul split in 2. if u hav not caught on yet, harry literally killed voldemort when voldemorts avada kedavra spell backfired. but seeing as though voldemort had his handy horcrux... his remained alive but just barely (as you should know as 1 of the effects of splitting your soul if u read every book so far)!!! now u work out the details for the rest of the plot lol

Here's my thoughts. I think Harry will kill Voldemort, but will die doing so. I mean, how else are they gonna end the book? And they all lived happily ever after? And, if you think about it, if Harry dies, he will be with all the people he loves: Sirius, Dumbledore, and his parents. I think it would be a FANTASTIC way to end the book.

Nah, it's been said that neither can exist in the world together, one will perish. That's not to say both will die, but I really don't Voldemort will eve really truly die, just as a metaphor and alliteration to how evil is in fact ever present in the world.

What a coincidence I have always thought this. I read some of the other answers and it would be a good but unsatisfing ending to the series or he could become the second ghost teacher. (DATDA hahahaha.(defence against the dark arts))

I honestly don't think JK could go through with killing Harry. She loves him like a son.

NO, I doubt it very much. Without him, there will be no more books and I think it would make the readers too sad and upset to kill the main character of this book!
