i jsut got put on prozac today and new years is coming is it ok if i drink to get drunk

NO!! Don not drink large amounts of alcohol with any anti-depressant. It's dangerous. The best thing is to stay away from alcohol at al while on Prozac or others like it. Barring that, drink only small amounts at any time.
See the warning label on your prescription or go to prozac.com

Leave the prozac till after New Years it's a really strong medication and it is recommended you don't drink alcohol at all.
Also alcohol is a depressent so drinking will make you feel even worse.
why not be the designated driver that way no-one will even notice you not drinking?
You don't need to drink to have a good time it's psychological I always have a good time and I drink diet coke.

Just wait until after New Year's to start taking the Prozac unless it's urgent that you start it now.

It is very dangerous. Maybe you shouldn't be on the Prozac if youi like to drink.

They recommend that you don't since alcohol is a natural depressant.
