I'm curious. I also don't really know much about vocal registers in general, if anyone can explain them to me. The one that most people seem to sing in, I don't sing well in (can't hit high notes), but when I switch one register higher I can sing wonderfully. Thanks for any answers. :)

Yes, that's exactly what I mean by register; alto, soprano, falsetto, etc. But I don't really know what any of those means, if anyone wouldn't mind explaining it to me. :)

If by registers you mean Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, then I would say Amy sings Alto, but sometimes breaks into Soprano territory.

If by registers you mean head voice and chest voice, then Amy uses both, but mostly chest.

My guess for Amy Lee would be 2nd soprano - she can't quite hit those highest notes and not quite low enough for alto...
