i have an mp3, and it finally installed the right way. but now, when i go to sync songs onto the player, it says that there is no device detected. i just got done ripping the songs to the hard drive, and it is just really confusing me. any ideas how to fix this? thanks

Oh the same thing happens with my MP3 player. Once the USB port plug is plugged into the MP3 device, plug the other end into your computer. When it says that, take out the part in your computer, and replug it. If it still doesn't work, do what I do. Unplug the MP3 device, turn it on, then replug it. I hope that helps. I have the Samsung MP3 player that slides down with speakers built in, and it comes with a pamphlet that explains it's usage in very understandable terms.

this is mary with a diff. sn. i tried that, and it refuses to detect my mp3 player. i don't know why.
