2 x 3 = 6
2 x 4 = 8
3 x 4 = 12
Now which answer will 2, 3 and 4 divide into, the lowest answer ?

LCM = 12.

L.C.M is the least common multiple of numbers so the l.c.m of 2 3 and 4 is 12
2{2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20......}
3{3,6,9,12,15,18,21.......}
4{4,8,12,16,20,24,28...........}
12 seems to be the least that appears in them all so that is your L.C.M
