Since that wasn't an equation, I assume you meant normalized form in scientific notation.

I'm not sure if you meant the product of 10.5 and 2, or if maybe there was a missing 10 in there, but I'll give it a shot both ways.

1.05E3 or 1.05x10^3 are the two normalized forms of 10.5E2 and 10.5x10^2.

The answer of 10.5 x 2 in normalized form would be

10.5 x 2 =21 = 2.1E1 or 2.1x10^1

in any mathmatical equation 10.5 x 2 equals 21and that is standard form. it would be senseless to stretch the equation out into some long algerberic form.

What a poorly posed question.

Maybe you just are lost and don't know what is being asked of you.....that's what I'm gonna go on.

All that is there are two numbers. One multiplied to the other. There is no standard form. Perhaps you can clarify your question for all of us and we can help you, otherwise you will receive responsesd like mine...or worse.

(1.05)*10^1 * (2.0)*10^0 = 2.1*10^1
