It doesnt depend on the music. I think it depends on your surroundings. I like both Hip Hop and Country music....I dont really like the country songs that bash on rap music though.....I hate straight Cowboys who think theyre all tough

Yes, I do. Even though I don't listen to country, my son does, and is heavily into it. He's a really laid back guy and is strong on family values. He looks at the world a little differently than I do, and that's fine. I find that most people who listen to country music are pretty much the same way. Music is very personal, and I've found that there are as many different kinds of people as there are music. And that difference is what makes the world go 'round. It would be very boring if there were only one kind of music. I'd be in big trouble if the only music available were polkas! <*)))><

I try to listen to everything, so that i can see life thru the perspective of other people. So i don't know if i would feel different about life if i only listened to country or rap.

Not really unless they identify with the lyrics to much. I am a stone cold rock-n-roller but listen to a variety of music. I sometimes listen to a few country tunes.

Yes. It's a proven fact that people who listen to country music are more likely to commit suicide than any other kind of music.

yes i agree... the music a person hears does make a change in his mindset subconciously. Country music listeners are calmer... Listeners of Rap are violent. exeptions may be there...

I tried to listen to country for a few months in the 90s and it seems really sad. Lots of tear jerker songs. It gets you in touch with your feelings, I suppose, but wow.
I prefer world music and some punk.
To each his own, I suppose. Good luck!

Probably more positive... i listen to both country and rock/metal depending on what kind of mood i'm in. The country is more of a uplifting music.
