Mine will stay on for months, my nail tech yells at me for it but hey it works. And fake nails from a store will probably only last a day or two. I recommend acrylic at your nail salon, they last a lot longer and so does the polish, you should have them filled every two weeks, should cost between 25-35 $ for a full set and 20-30 for a fill.

Professional Fake Nails

THey stay on for about two weeks. If the acrylic is good then it shouldnt come off. but your nails grow so within two weeks your nails start to look weird so you want to either get them refilled or taken off. The fake nail sets are no good. They call off and they dont look very professional. Another problem is some times the nails dont fit your nail perfectly. If you get it done professionally they fit a fake nail that fits your nail perfectly.

It depends on who does them and what products they use. I had a set that lasted nearly 3 weeks until one came off, whereas a friend of mine got them done on the same day elsewhere, and 2 days later she'd lost half of them. It can also depend on what you do with them. If you're doing manual work of course they're more likely to come off. You need to get them refilled every 2 weeks or so (depending on how quick your nails grow). I'd get them done professionally, only because they don't stick the plastic over all your nail (just the tip) and then fill it with acrylic or gel. That way they fit better too.

Try the fake set first to see if your going to like them, don't try to do the real long one's at first and use nail glue, not stick on. So if you decide you want professional nail they run from 35 to 55$ and the fill in in between about 21$, that's why you try the drug store kind first. Good Luck, I know you will enjoy them.

if you get them done, you will need to get them filled in a week or 2 at the most. it's usually 1/3 to 1/2 the original price to fill acrylics. they look nice, but when they come off your real nails will be atrocious looking until they heal. but that's true for any fake nails.

i would have them professionally done if i were you

It better to have it done professionally! They will look nicer, and trust me.....doing it youself is a mess!!!! A mess! Don't chance it. Get them done. It's not that expensive anymore anyway. They will last a long time too. Almost too long!!!! The will last until you have them removed, or they grow out completely.

every person iv known that has had fake nails has regreted it. they make your real nails way to soft so that the nail crunches and bunches up and they get yellow and its quite disgusting. my aunt had then and they're still all nasty after 6 years!!! so just try to grow them out im trying to do the same because im a nail bitter. hope that helped! ♥

Professionaly done acrylic nails are better. They will stay on for about 4 weeks before they become weak. If you get store bought they will pop off faster because it's just glue and no acrylic to harden them.
