Reasons for the repeats:

1. So they don't have to show them later.

2. People are not at home so it screws up the ratings

3. People are out of the city so it further screws up the ratings.

4. Kids are out of school so parents want more family programs and less sex and violence.

5. Everybody is doing it.

6. Low point for commercial dollars.

7. It is their network they can do what they want.

9. To pick up straglers who missed all the other shows this season.

and 10. Testing out another show as a filler doesn't pay off.


The show will be back January 4th with the show "Six days"

Grey's Anatomy will begin airing again around the first or second week in January. Even the stars take a holiday, So that is why they are all repeats right now

I keep seeing it in the Thursday night lineup. Not that I watch it...conflicts with CSI. But you know, right now and for the last 2-3 weeks, episodes of nearly every show have been repeats.

many shows take a break from showing new episodes during the holiday season. i think the new episodes will start showing two weeks from yesterday, because that's what i heard after last night's rerun episode.
