Check with your pediatrician. I was told by mine that all OTC cold meds are safe. Just watch out for your milk supply because decongestants will dry up all body fluids which will result in a reduction of milk production.
Meanwhile, get yourself a good vaporizer - that has helped me a lot.

edited to add: pharmacists in my area won't answer this and all told me to ask my Ob. My Ob told me to ask the pharm. I went to the pedi and asked her since the question really is about how the meds will affect the baby, not the mother.

Any Tylenmol product is fine to take while pregnant or breastfeeding, so maybe try Tylenol Cold or Cold and Cough or Sever Cold
