Yes both of my children got it. Don't know how most people feel about home remedies but this worked for mine. There is a natural herb called Rosa de Castilla. You can buy it at most supermarkets. They are little rose petals in a bag pretty much. You take a handfull of the petals out of the bag and boil them in about 3 cups of water until the water gets a brownish color. Then you take the water and put it in your child's bath tub. Be sure to add some cold water of course to get the water to the perfect temperature. (Don't worry I don't bathe my children in boiling water.) Then you just bathe your baby like you normally would with soap and use the water to rinse him/her off. It's smells really nice, like roses. Do this for 3 days in a row. That's what worked for both of my children and it went away pretty quickly.

This is vey normal. It could have been milia or baby acne. Milia occurs when dead skin becomes trapped near the surface of your baby's skin. When the surface of the bump wears away, the dead skin is sloughed off and the bump disappears. Baby acne is believed to be caused by the hormones babies receive from their mother at the end of pregnancy.

Yes, they do get acne. It is called infant acne, or sometimes milk bumps. Don't use adult acne treatments on it, because they are too harsh for your infant's skin. Talk to your pediatrician about how to clear it up and how to prevent it later. Whatever you do, do not try to pop these bumps, because there really is not anything there, and causes allot of pain and possible scarring to the little one.

Infant acne is what its called and my daughter broke out BIG TIME. It goes away. Get some hydrocortisone cream from your pediatrician. It'll clear it up.

yes they do espesially is you breast feed them, that's what the doctor told me. She said it's because the baby is full of the mother's hormones, and that if you breast feed them your hormones go into them, therefore the acne comes out until they start getting used to them.
