Ok all the ppl who answerwd ur question seriously dont know what they are talking about. you shouldnt use shades like pink or blue or pastel colors on your eyes because it clashes with ur skin. unless they are a rich clor, then they are ok. you should use shimmery golds, browns, taupes and pearls. im a master of the smoky eye i do it all the time. U will need black eye shadow, black eyeliner, and mascara. first, you line the inside rims of your eyes and then line the top of your eyes with a thick line and use your finger to blend it. dont blend it too far up or u will look funny. then use the black eyeshadow on your lids and blend it very well.curl ur lashes and put on mascara and there u go!

The smokey eye>maybe put some eyeliner pencil on your top lid then lightly smudge and smear it upwards with a cotton bud or a soft eyeliner brush. An eyeshadow that blends a little with your skin would proberly be nicer then a bright one like pink etc. Choose a colour that will bring your eyes out..maybe a darker brown with a little gold as a highlight. If you have green eyes, maybe go more for the greens.

To do a sexy smokey eye, you don't just have to stick to just the grays and black. Use some purples, emeralds, and maroon colors also. But keep the lips subtle and maybe a slick gold gloss or any neutral light color lip gloss on your lips.
And as far as the steps I've post it for others that wanted the same steps on how to do smokey eye and I hope you don't mind. I do my own smokey eye all the time and I get lots of compliments on it, and I hope it will be the same for you. Here it is:
You first want to make sure your eyes are primed for it. Your eyebrows are neat and fixed and you have applied a few specks of loose powder under your eye to catch the eyeshadow that will fall. You don't want black eyeshadow or any dark color settling onto your makeup on your face. Doing this helps to catch it. Once you're done with that then it's time to follow these steps:
1) Apply a neutral color eyeshadow at your browbone or over your entire eyelid. Sometimes I apply color from a white pencil exactly right underneath my eyebrow to really define the neutral color, but you don't have to.
2) Apply a brownish color from the crease of your eye down to the lash line and blend.
3) Apply the darkest black (or any dark color you choose) at the lash line and blend.
**** Remember, you have to blend, blend, blend because one thing you don't want is for everyone to see is where your eyeshadows begin.
4) Line your eyelids with black eye pencil.
5) Define your eyelashes with at least two coats of mascara. I personally do three because I have long eyelashes and I like for them to stand out.
6) After you are sure that everything's blended well and you've done all the prior steps, take your powder brush and whisk away the loose powder that you had underneath your eyes. And follow with a neutral lip color of your choice (any color would do, but if you're wearing a smokey eye you want people to notice your eyes, not your eyes and lips).
It takes alot practice to get it down pat, so don't get discouraged if don't look great the first time, practice makes perfect. You will get it, I promise.

Girl ,
You have come across the best person you can think of. Light pink and orange girl you will be looking good. I am a fashion freek I can design any thing and make people look gorgeous. I think you do the smokey eye by getting a white eye shadow with black eye liner. Then get some sparkly eye shadow and put that over it. If that's not how you do it. Than I don't know how, but people were complementing me like crazy on how good I look it. does not get any better than that.

I absolutely love cranberry or maroon tones. I tried a gold shimmer eye shadow for new years eve last year and it looked great! Try purchasing some cheap brands (just to experiment with color) and when you find the colors that you're happy with, go back and purchase a higher quality brand.

One of the best colours for dark skin on women is yellow.
That is why the itsy bitsy poka dot bikini was yellow. It was worn by a beautiful girl with dark skin.

So you just want to know eye shadow colors, not clothing? I can tell you about clothes but... if you want makeup tips, buy any magazine and they'll help. Latina is nice because they don't focus on just White skin or just Black skin. Latinas are diverse so it shows options for all skin colors.
