X-box 360 vs. Wii?

Question

I've been choosing between a Xbox 360 and a Wii and cant choose. Is the Wii really that fun compared to Xbox 360 controller. Is Xbox 360 just like a better version of Xbox or is there more to it? Aren't the Wii games a little kiddish to you guys? Which 1 gets boring faster? Which one would you buy?

It depends what you are looking for, I personally dont own an HDTV nor will I own one for awhile so thats not something I looked at. I own both of the systems and the 360 is great for entertainment. It reads DVD's, plays MP3's and video files. And has a great selection of games. the Wii is cheaper and has a good selection of games but it doesnt play and media files. You can however download every nintendo, SNES, N64 and I believe gameboy game offline. That makes it a little more versatile and it is really fun. I played it for hours the first time and I was sore because of all the punching. So you make the choice, I dont really think the games a kiddish but thats an opinon. Good Luck!

If you have the money the 360 is probably the better investment. It has been out for a while now so the technology has been refined and lots of good games have been released. The 360 is just a better Xbox but there isn't really anything wrong with that. If you are a more casual gamer you might want to go for the Wii; it is fun to pick up and play and it has some truly addictive gameplay. It is a bit kiddish and the motion control style can feel a bit like a gimmick but it still has that nintendo feel that we all know and love. The Wii is also pretty cheap compared to the 360. It all comes down to preference. Do you like the sunshine and puppy dogs that make up the Wii or the hardcore bloodbath that is the 360.

The wii is not fun at all. What's so fun about waving your arms to play a video game? Do you think that's fun? There is much more to xbox 360 than you think. It is the greatest gaming system out now. Yes, the wii games are kiddish and look cartoonish and boring. Wii gets boring a lot faster. I have a 360, and I would never leave it to play a wii. The graphics are simply uncontested, they are absolutely phenomenal. If I were you, I'd get the 360.

Well if I had to choose I would defenitly choose a wii. You will never get bored with a wii. The wii's gamed are not childish they are actually fun for everyone. If you get xbox 360 you will get bored of it faster. If you buy a wii you will get 5 sports games free insinde the box. They are tennis, golf, boxing, baseball, and bowling. If you buy a wii get the game called The legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes it's really fun. I would tell you to get a Nintendo wii. And ya you will have a blast playing with a wii's controller. they both rock! even though i dont have them my friends do but i've been wanting for about a month to get the wii but then again the xbox 360 does have way shinier graphics and it plays media and saves songs to the hard drive. so i'm getting the xbox instead because i heard that an rpg called blue dragon was coming out later in 2007 that is gonna be way awesome.

I think that the wii is better because thats what i play now. i'm like addicted to the zelda game. i bought the 360 but i haven't played it in a while. I think the controller totally makes the difference because it is so much more fun to move around than jam buttons. I got my wii online at http://www.doiop.com/wiii. much easier than stores.
