Yes I want them kind of similar sounding simply because they are identical twins. And If you're wondering yes I've asked a lot of baby name questions in the past, and I found out just recently that I'm haveing identical twin girls due in June.

It's not two first names, it's a first name and a middle name.

How exciting and congrats! I like how you want them to sound similar and they are cute names, but hard to pronounce and spell. I am a twin, and people are not easily confused by Julia and Christina (our names).
I suggest keeping Elia Lorraine (very cute and easy to pronounce/spell) but to change Lieann to Leanne because Lieann isn't a real spelling of that name, and to change Emmeila to Amelia because that is how to easily and traditionally to spell it. Another possibility is changing Emmeila to Erica, Emma, Ella or Elaine (If you want an E name).
In the end, it is your choice what to name your identical twin girls. Have fun and good luck raising them!
(El and Le also make cute nicknames!!)

They are pretty names. I'd suggest, however, making the spellings as easy as possible for the girls, I like Elia Lorraine the way you spelled it, because it is how it is pronounced. Lieann might cause people to think it is "lie" ann (as in telling a "lie") I would spell it Leanne. Emmeila is traditionally spelled Amelia. Just some suggestions to make it easier on the child. Good luck and Congrats on the baby girls!

I LOVE the name Elia and also Emmeila, but I don't like Lorraine or Lieann.
Plus, the way you have spelled Emmeila people will pronounce it Ee-Mee-Lah. Maybe spell it Emelia? And the way you have spelled Lieann people will pronounce it Ly-Ann or Lee-Ann. Maybe spell it Liyahn, but that doesn't look good, huh? I don't know. I'm all for unique names, but not putting the kid through years and years of explaining how to pronounce their name.
Congrats!

I'm all for unsual names but why condemn the poor children to a lifetime of having their names mispronounced and the constant "how do I spell that?"
Wouldn't be my personal choice for names but if you're happy with them how about sticking with Elia Lorraine and Emilia Leanne? (But Elia will be probably pronounced ELL-ee-ya and only way you will ever get anyone to pronouce Lieann as "Li-YAHN" is to spell it that way)

They're Beautiful!! Although, a little long. What about just picking 1 of them for 1 daughter and 1 for the other instead of giving then 2 first names? They are verrrry pretty, so either way the names are great!

WOW, congrats!! What a blessing! I like Elia and Emmeila. Very pretty. I like old fashioned names. I have four kids and went old fashioned with Anabel Rose. I also have a Tatum and Garret and Aiden. ANyway, not the point. I like those two names. Good luck to you and CONGRATS!! I'm excited for you. Have a blessed new year.

Aliyah Lorraine & Amelia Liann -I think the E spellings are confusing and will lead to pronounciation problems
