I disagree with the psychologist. Anger IS a good emotion IF it is expressed responsibly. It is a HUMAN emotion. We have no choice but to have it. It's what we DO with it that counts.

While I don't mind someone mentioning a book like this, but this is placed in an inappropriate category. People that come to this section are looking for bona fide questions and regard questions like this a nuisance.

If it is a guinely helpful book, then great, but tell people about it in an appropriate manner.

I would expect much more of an insightful response from a psychologist. You'd think they would understand the responses given and that anger is an emotion we are all sort of stuck with. I see his/her point, but disagree with the points mentioned.

Good grief, someone gave your question a thumbs down, so I balanced it out. This is a big issue, as we all know--people HAVING to go to anger management classes etc. I can say in all honesty that I'm always calm, stoic & reasonable, but it was VERY NICE of you to share this. oOoioOo could use the book, I think. Sounds like she's having a bad hair day. Validity of your question confirmed! Hee hee hee

Edit: I'd like to know when suggesting a BOOK is spam or advertisement! Hello? As for Imaka--anger is one of the mosted WASTEFUL emotions. There's no way to be angry responsibly; upset oneself & accomplish nothing. The book you mentioned should be sent to MOST of the people who answered. See how relevant it is? How "..easily irritated" they were by your sharing information! Oops--- forgot my source...

Anger is a organic/accepted human emotion. the final analysis is how we take care of it. not all of us handles it nicely or properly. I have a tendency to withdraw even as i'm indignant, till i have taken care of the priority out..that way i do not behave unkindly in the route of friends or others who do not deserve it.

Is this spam? Sometimes it just feels good to be a little angry about things you can't control. Anger is a positive emotion if it is expressed responsibly.
