I've never been there, but, tell me what it's like. It's like one of my number one dreams to go there. Is it hard to learn a different language?

Hi, London is one of the 3 most expensive cities in the world. It's a city where there are a lot of things that people from any other country will complain about, but the British never complain and don't like to make a fuss. The food is what I consider heavy, yet comforting. But you can eat any type of food here because London has people living here from all around the world. London is very pretty in the summer time when all the flowers are in bloom and the sky is sunny and bright. During the winter time, it's usually raining and dreary. London's not a huge city. You can get to places pretty easily through their public transportation system. But the Tube has a bad reputation (even though it's true) of being overcrowded and smelly. If you come visit, don't travel during rush hour. You won't believe how people will force their way onto the tubes. The English/British people are nice but don't really want to know you. They will have a chat but don't expect to ever really see you again. So I hope you get to visit one day. It's a great place. You'll enjoy it! Cheers (as we say!)

It would be advisable to learn modern Cockney for without it you will have great difficulty. It took me over 20 years to master it and I am still learning. In the East End, you might be advised to have a working knowledge of Urdu whilst around Cricklewood and Kilburn, Irish Gaelic is required in most pubs. There is a lot of Italian spoken around Gloucester Road whilst Polish is the latest fashionable language to learn.

(Most Irishmen named Mike/Paddy, living in London have a wicked sense of humour........Happy New Year)...........

Last I heard London has been vacant since the second world war. Maybe you could go there and start a new population and bring it back to what it once was!
