A comedy of Errors

1) While installing it, it came up with an error regarding access, supposedly I or it didn't have proper access for some file or another

2) Now, no matter how many liveupdates I run it still tells me that I do not have the latest protection updates.

3) It tells me that I need to turn on the spy protection, but it won't let me.

Do any of you have any advice for resolving any of these issues?

okay start off by uninstalling Norton Internet Security.

Then reboot your pc depending on the Operating system press f8 if Windows XP boot in safe mode with command prompt.

pull up comand prompt and type chkdsk /f then type y reboot let the chkdsk run and it should find an error and fix it then re-install norton and you will be back in business

When I had problems like this about eighteen months ago it turned out that the clock settings on my computer were slightly off. This was very easy to fix, and the people at Symantec helped me through with no problems once I had got through to them. However, it was that bit which was not simple - I spent more time trying to make contact than on fixing the problem setting.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:
