Although it is a "National Day of Mourning", Tuesday will be a regular work day for most of us, regardless to weather or not we are federal, state or local government employees. Had Mr. Ford been a "SITTING" Head of State, it would have had a different slant.
Even when President John F. Kennedy was buried, most everyone went to work on the day of his funeral. I do remember that all schools and only certain FEDERAL offices were closed for that day, but those offices were only in Washington, D.C.

You should, but it is up to the top dog in your area. If you goto www.whitehouse.gov the proclamation is there for all to see.
Have a good weekend.
