the best thing is probably for you to start taking voice lessons from a voice coach, and maybe from there you can start realizing your dream.

I don't know the industry really...but like any other job you'd do research for, try looking up who the big names are in the industry, the actual voice actors who are popular and check their histories. I'm guessing these guys tend to be pretty obscure (as opposed to live action actors and authors) so you probably can get in contact pretty easily, maybe directly. Just ask question about they got into the industry.
