Why would they do that? It's commonly found in "Theology and Scripture," and I think the bible is something everyone should read.

Hi!
I have seen it listed in reference in the non-fiction section at the main library in my city. Then I went to the town that I live in and this branch had it listed in fiction. They, of course, had to change it over to the non-fiction section.

Bibles are nonfiction in the library. Here's a link to the library of Congress classification system to find a Bible: http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/webbin/book/browse?type=lccn&key=BS

Oh, Kevin, it's you. They put Bibles in the Religion and History sections of the libraries. They put Darwin's books in the mythology and bulls*** section .

Library of Congress classification is BS
(PHILOSOPHY. PSYCHOLOGY. RELIGION -> Bible)
So that's clearly not fiction.
But still BS (somebody defintely has a sense of humor)

Nonfiction. It's in, like 100-something by the Dewey Decimal system.
