It just sounds like you have irregular periods. A lot of girls do, especially when younger. It's very common. See a doctor - it may be hormonal problems that they can help with (pills).

You can get pregnant if you get sperm in your vagina. No other way. If the man ejaculates, and you touch it, and then touch your wet juicy bits, it is possible to get pregnant. OTOH, it's actually hard enough to get pregnant when trying to conceive, so the odds that this will happen is VERY low. If he comes onto your underwear, say, and then you pull them on, or he does it on your stomach and it drips down... can happen.

For example, if the man has already ejaculated and then performs regular intercourse, or rubs it on the woman's genitals, there may still be sperm inside the penis which leaks out. There's a suggestion that pre-*** also has a bit of sperm leaking into it. All in all, if you DON'T want to get pregnant, keep his bodily fluids away from yours.

Sperm usually dies if it's been outside and dried out or cooled off for a few minutes (10 or more?). In a warm moist environment (like inside the vagina) it can live for 3 to 5 days, waiting for ovulation. Washing with soap and very hot water can also help the little critters die.

Suzanne Somers (3's Company fame) relates in her book about getting pregnant while "dry humping". In her case, they had underwear on, but he was pushing into her vagina. A layer or 2 of cloth isn't much of a barrier to a large flood of sperm. A catholic priest I knew once mentioned they counselled girls from time to time who were pregnant but still technically virgins. In most cases, it was like Horseshoes - close counts. they were fooling around but not putting it in, and the boy got some ejaculate on or in the girl's vagina.

There was a case in Toronto, on the news, where one of a pair of lesbians had a child using a turkey baster and a willing (gay) male who provided the sperm.

But really, if all you did was touch, unless you dipped your finger in sperm and immediately touched yourself inside, you have nothing to worry about.

From what you said of your situation, it's highly unlikely. Some women have wonky cycles, and most adolescents have very wonky cycles. It should calm down and get steadier by the time you're out of your teen years.

It is possible to get pregnant without having intercourse, but the sperm would have to get to your vagina pretty quickly. It doesn't survive all that long outside the body. If any semen touched your genitalia, or if anything that touched semen touched your genitalia, then you could get pregnant. If you guys do the mutual masturbation thing, then make sure you wash your hands before you touch yourself if you touch his semen or his pre-come.

If you are really worried, you may want to look into the pill or another form of hormonal birth control. It will regulate your periods (which gives you a nice excuse to give your parents) and it'll make you that much less worried.

Well there is a very rare chance of getting pregnant without having sex. if u touched ur partner down there and u had sperm on ur fingers and then touched urself the sperm could have swam its way into the opening of ur vagina and conceive an egg. so the only way to be sure is to go to the doctor and get tested. but just so u know sperm can live up to 5 days. good luck !

If you haven't had sex then you are not pregnant. You might want to ask your mom some questions. I hope she's good enough to answer them! You shouldn't have to worry about things like this. You are not pregnant. As long as you have not had sex you are fine. You may want to go to the doctor and have it checked out.

To answer your main question, yes, you can get pregnant without having sex. There's this story I heard about two virgins who were fooling around, (this was told at a sex-ed seminar type thing at a high school a coworker of mine teaches at), and the girl gave him a hand job, and he ejaculated, and it got on her hands, and she put her fingers inside of herself right after (I know this is a little graphic), and she ended up pregnant from that.

If you put your hands on yourself after touching your boyfriend, it's possible, but unlikely, since you said yourself, there was no ejaculate present.

Don't worry about it. You are not going to be the mother of the Second Coming (joke, sorry).

If you only started getting periods recently, it does take a long time for them to regulate themselves. The way you describe your cycle is very typical of a young girl who has only started menstruating recently.

It took YEARS for my cycle to become something predictable. (I use a lunar calendar.)

Just don't do anything more with your boyfriend like that. (I suppose making out is okay, but if you're going to touch each other's genitals, don't swap hands (i.e., if you're touching him, don't switch to yourself halfway through - wash your hands first to reduce the risk of pregnancy). (Also - make him clip his fingernails if he is touching you between your legs - that's how most women get infections in the vagina, from teeny scratches in the delicate skin from overlong fingernails.))

And, if you MUST have sex (please don't!!), use CONDOMS with SPERMICIDAL lubricant.

you can't get pregnant unless a sperm fertilizes your egg, which means you either have to have sex, or you have to get it fertilized in a lab. you shoulds see a doctor if you think your pregnant. the only weird way that could happen is if you touched a guy, got sperm on your hand, and then touched yourself down there, or if he touched himself and then you.

no. I had lots of problems with my cycle for years. I finally went to the doctor when I was 18 and told her what had been going on. You should probably get a check up. Birth control will help control your periods and make them less painful.

Your mom is trying to freak you out! The only, and I mean only way to get pregnant withOUT having sex is invetro fertilization...where the sperm is actually linked with one of your eggs and they become a fetus!

sorry sweety but you need to take a sex ed class. You have to have sex to get pregnant. How is the sperm going to get to the egg? It doesn't just swim through the air. It needs help.

BTW, wait til you are married before you start having sex!!!!
