I am an OB/GYN and this is common to feel huge if you think about it if this is your first time having a child your body is going through so many changes and growing in different ways you are not used to this. The only way to tell if you are having twins is going for an ultrasound.

Have you not heard the heartbeat yet? Usually that's the first sign, the doctor can usually hear the two heartbeats if it is twins. But feeling huge is normal, I always feel huge but there is only one baby in there, I've seen it on ultrasound. Good luck!

When I was 3 months my doctor thought I was too big and we had an ultrasound done and well its ''twins" so you might ask your doctor if he/she thinks you are larger than usual and if so do you need to get the ultrasound sooner.

Well first of all ask your personal doctor and see what he/she thinks....or if twins runs in the family then that could be a hint...but I also have heard that first time woman (im not sure if this is your first time being pregnant) they seem to feel big during their first 2,3,4 months of being pregnant.....

Hope I Helped!

you should be due your first ultrasound around this time then they can confirm how many babies you have in there. i felt huge when i was around 12weeks too but it was due to bloating, its quite common to feel big early on and then it goes away.

You should schedule an ultrasound with your OB/GYN soon anyway, and he/she should be able to see if there are two babies in there.
