Choices are nonsense. It's Mahmoud Abbas. He was the acting head of the PLO under Arafat and his Prime Minister. But Abbas called a halt to the attacks upon Israel after the 2nd Intifada in the Fall of 2000. So that shows some promise...

I think I responded to this Q earlier--but I made a mistake saying that Mubarak was the head of Pakastan...He's the ruler of Egypt. Still don't know the Pakastani ruler...

Those are the only choices? All I'm finding says that Abbas is the main guy now.

"Arafat was the Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee from 1969 until his death in 2004. He was succeeded by Mahmoud Abbas (also known as Abu Mazen)."

Hmm...hope you're not asking this for a school (or even funnier, a college take home exam).

None of those guys are leaders of the PLO. Had you posted this in 2004, "B" would be right....
