Wade is a team player, he is a floor General directed his team to a championship, A.I is more individual player with great heart, but he has problem with his coaches, and do not like practice. I would definitely spend my hard earned money on Wade instead of A.I if I was the team owner.

At the moment I would take D-wade on my team! AI would be a risk at this point. D-Wade would not be for any team. Unfair to judge at this point though I would rather have D-Wade on my team anyday over AI at the start of both their careers. D-Wade is a much better team player and gets along with the coaches and other players better. Also attitude makes a significant difference in any sport. Pat Riley never has to babysit D-Wade. Larry Brown called AI uncoachable and AI did not seem to like any of his coaches including Cheeks after a while. D-Wade is only starting also and has already won a championship. And remember that nobody really played well in the last series of the playoffs or stood out except for Wade. The Heat aquired misfit players that were a problem with their own teams hoping to improve their team and win a championship. I did not think they could do it but because of D-Wade they did. AI is fun to watch. I have always been amazed what he can do with his size. D-Wade is undersized also if you put him at shooting guard. AI never had Shaq but did people forget how great he did when paired up with Mutombo and won the MVP award? We have yet to see the complete answer for how well D-Wade will do throuhout his career but what D-Wade did last year would make me pick him over AI anyday. The Heat have got to get rid of the misfit players. I don't need to say the names and we already know who they are. It will be interesting to see how the AI and Mello thing work out.

Personally i like AI more than D-wade
Pros
Allen iverson leads the league in steals all the time get no credit for it.
Allen never got to play with Shaq he got the finals with mutombo
Allen is the only player besides jordan to win as many scoring titles
Allen has the most 40 point of more games since jordan
Allen is a MVP 30 points 9 assists 3 steals average
allen plays hurt
allen gives you his heart every time and every game and just can't pass on a guy like that
cons
allen don't like practice
allen is good team player but not a great team player i believe with carmelo and the nuggets he will average like 10 assists he will share the rock

Allen is just the guy i would pay to see. i would pay to see D-wade too. But allen iverson is just something special i wish the NBA would realize that and start marketing him instead of kobe!!

They are different players. A.I. is a pure scorer who can put up more points than anybody, but Wade is a more complete player in all areas of the game.

well d-wade is younger and arriving to the scene

and d-wade is getting better, while AI is sort of like a veteran now

it also depends on your team

like if the team is dependent on you, you can score more points

with everyone feeding you the ball

and d-wade has the rebounds and AI has the assists

but i think AI is overall a better player

it all dpends on what you are looking for

Considering Wade won a championship on his first trip to the Finals, and that he's a team player that won't trip over going to practice.... I'll say D-Wade.

this is a toughy, but in my opinion Wade. simiply cause of his leadership qualities at a young age. dont get me wrong AI is a great player. what 4 scoring titles and he still has what about 6 assists a game or 7 this season. Wade just seems a bit more of the leader to me vocally and by his actions. but I think it will be alot harder to decide after AI has been in Denver for a while and see how he co-exists with carmelo

AI is statistically a better player, but he is much older and will start breaking down soon, plus he's a thug punk who doesn't care about team concept. Dwayne Wade is young, extremely talented, a team player, and a good guy all around. Soon it will be DWade's and LeBron's league.

Good question.

If we are talking each player in his prime I assume, and playing one on one...

I think AI has breakneck speed and a crossover that would break wade's ankles...and AI plays better D, so in a game to 21 i take AI 21-17.

I always try to judge by number of championships that players have. So by my logic:
D-WADE (1) > A.I (0)
OLAJUWON (2) > D-WADE (1)
KOBE (3) > OLAJUWON (2)
SHAQ (4) > KOBE(3)
MAGIC (5) > SHAQ (4)
JORDAN (6) > MAGIC (5)
B. RUSSELL (11) > JORDAN (6)
ANY OF THE ABOVE (EXPECT A.I.) > BARKELY & EWING (0 Combined)
