A cold will last 2 weeks in anybody. It does not matter how old you are. The meds that are avaiable only help subside the symptons, they do not cure a cold. Just try to make the baby comfortable.

I have a 4 month old daughter and she had a cold (sneeze, stuffiness, but no fever) a couple of weeks ago and it lasted about a week. However, it might be a good idea to take your little one to the doctor though just to make sure the illness is really just a cold and nothing more serious. I hope the little one feels better soon:)

I would have to say that it depends on whether the infant is being breastfed or not. Breastfed babies almost never get sick in the first six months of life and if they do it is very mild. This is because they receive the benefit of all the immunities that their mothers have built up during their life. Breastfeeding offers a great deal of natural protection from disease. Bottle fed babies get sick more often and stay sick longer.

I in no way did sink baths. I had a toddler bath, and used it contained in the massive bath. even as she change into previous sufficient to perk up on her own, I gave her an popular bath contained in the bathtub. I enable her play contained in the bathtub till the water receives too cool, or she exhibits that she's waiting to go back out.
