Robert, tuxedos may have been cool in 1954- I remember seeing a lot of pictures of people wearing them back in that time period. When I think of tuxedos, the first thing that pops into my head is that midget from fantasy island. No wear a simple pair of jeans and a clean shirt.

Damn cool. But you have to know where to wear them. I go to a lot of formal dinners and galas where they are required. I also wear mine to the opera (I sit in the donor's circle.) But it would not be appropriate to just wear one on a date.
