Can someone please explain it to me in a simple way? or does anyone know of a website that can explain it in a simple way? because i don't get it. (^_^)

Here it is in words: Pick any real number, and I will do the same. Write it down, but do not show me, and I will do the same. Then either

(1) Your number is larger than mine,

(2) My number is larger than yours, or

(3) We have picked the same number [hay, it could happen: Great minds think alike : c ) ].

For any two real numbers a, b

only one of these can be true:

a a>b
a=b

Complex numbers are not ordered and so the trichotomy law is not applicable.
